tf_wrks llc is a Montana and New England based design studio offering architectural and landscape design solutions to residential clients. Originated by Tom Forker, the office remains small and focused on compelling, collaborative projects of all scales. As a residential architect with 15+ years experience within both the architecture and landscape architecture industry, he has worked on projects that span the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Mountain West US, it has helped him characterize a unique skill-set and range of knowledge.
tf_wrks llc is a modern architecture practice located in Bozeman, MT and New England. The work is inspired by a local, regional context that informs and integrates architectural form and landscapes in a cohesive manner.
PURPOSE
The work is a commitment to the strength of the idea and a passion for the tangibles of material and detail. There is an honest, straightforward approach to the work, uniquely informed by circumstance, process and ultimately the acts of building itself. The primary goal is to bring the vision of the client, the particulars of the site and the richness of craft together to create enduring livable architecture capable of inspiration and delight.
The architecture and landscape is the inevitable conclusion of a listening process - to physically manifest the emotion and lived experience of our clients’ lives. That involves a belief that aesthetic and functional beauty is born from a close relationship with nature. Our design approach has always been to create and make with heart but with minimum impact to our planet.
